Papagayo, the weekly club nights

Papagayo's nights follow the days of the week: Wednesday Move On (house, 90s and 00s), Thursday Follow (latin tech house and afro house), Friday La Loka (reggaeton, latin and hits), Saturday Essence (dark tech house with long sets) and Sunday Freak & Chic! (house, disco and funk with live percussion). Event tickets are sold through its What's On listings, and VIP tables through a bottle-service page. The AWA restaurant in the same building serves Mediterranean cooking, booked through its own site. The dress code is not stated on the site, so ask when you book a table.

Monkey Beach Club, on Playa de Troya

The club sits above the beach with views toward La Gomera. Kong is the daytime area, open daily from 12:00 to 01:00 and not taking reservations; arriving early is advised to get a good spot. Cielo is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 18:30 to 01:00 and Fridays from 19:30 to 02:00, closed Sunday and Monday, with an age limit of 16 and over. The events listed include Jaleo Urbano at 22:30 on 7, 14, 21 and 28 November 2026, The White Party at 22:30 on 12, 19 and 26 November, and a New Year's Eve party on 31 December at 21:00. Tickets go through the site's ticket page and event links.

Shows, casinos and bars

The tourist board lists two evening shows: Ole Flamenco, a Spanish dance and flamenco show created and directed by Fran Chafino, and Scandal Dinner Show, a burlesque-style show for adults. Casino de Las Americas is on the lower level of Hotel Gran Tinerfe, Casino de Santa Cruz on the lower level of Hotel Mencey, and Casino Puerto de la Cruz in the Lago Martianez complex. Bars and pubs include Bambu Lounge & Bar and Hard Rock Cafe Tenerife (two floors, capacity over 500). The tourist board does not give opening hours or prices for any venue, so check the venue's own page for the day you go. For where to base yourself, see Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje.

A night without a club

A night excursion that is not a club is the mountain one: Teide National Park Sunset Picnic and Stargazing is rated 4.7 out of 5 from 465 reviews on GetYourGuide (read 7 November 2026). The details are in Teide stargazing tour.
