What "all inclusive" covers
At the two Landmar hotels the plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner from a buffet, snacks and appetizers through the day, and beers, cocktails and other drinks from internationally recognized brands. Services are subject to the opening hours of each restaurant, which the hotel publishes on its site. At the Princess hotels the plan includes unlimited meals, drinks and snacks, and the spa circuits cost extra. Princess also says you can upgrade to all inclusive on arrival through reception.
Landmar, in Puerto de Santiago
Landmar Costa Los Gigantes Family Resort is described by the hotel as a family hotel. Its restaurants are the Teide Buffet, the Nautilus and Ola snack bars, The Reef Pool Bar and Central Bar, and the a la carte Bones Grill and Ciao, an Italian restaurant. Landmar Playa la Arena Oceanfront Hotel is a few steps from the beach and is designed for guests seeking exclusivity and rest. It has the Lava Buffet, Snack Arena, Hello Bar, The View Snack Bar for Platinum guests, the evening a la carte Arena Restaurant (Mediterranean) and Macaronesia, a street food restaurant with a gourmet touch. Princess, in Costa Adeje
Both Princess hotels are adults only, for guests 16 and over, so they are not a family option. Guayarmina Princess is on the seafront about 150 m from Fanabe beach and has pools and leisure areas with shows. Big hotels that are not all inclusive
Check the board code on every rate. Three RIU hotels are half board: Riu Palace Tenerife at Playa del Duque has breakfast and dinner buffets, Riu Arecas, adults only and about 450 m from Playa del Duque, has a half-board plan, and Riu Garoe in Puerto de la Cruz in the north is half board with the beach about 2 km away (riu.com, read 7 November 2026). A half-board rate covers two meals; drinks and lunch are extra.
How to choose
- Family with children: Landmar Costa Los Gigantes Family Resort.
- Couple, no children: Guayarmina Princess or Princess Inspire, both adults only.
- Beach on the doorstep: Landmar Playa la Arena Oceanfront Hotel, a few steps from the beach.
