Practical details
- Hours: 9:30 to 17:30 on 6 November 2026, with last admission 30 minutes before closing (Tiqets listing).
- Getting there: a free mini-train runs every 20 minutes from Plaza de los Reyes Católicos in Puerto de la Cruz (next to McDonald's): first train 9:30, last 4:30 pm; from the park, first 10:15, last 5:30 pm. By car, parking is 7 euros a day, with limited spaces that cannot be booked.
- From the south: the official site sells a bus from the south of the island, arriving from 10:00 and leaving at 4:30 pm. Allow a long day.
- Ticket includes: the animal shows and exhibitions and the mini-train. Pets are not allowed, and under-18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- What you see: some 4,000 parrots, Europe's largest dolphin pool and shark tunnel, and the world's largest indoor penguin enclosure, according to the Tiqets listing. The park also keeps orcas and dolphins for shows; if animal welfare matters to you, weigh that before buying.
- Premium: the official site also sells annual passes, an all-inclusive ticket and a Diamond ticket with a guided tour and lunch.
The twin ticket
Siam Park and Loro Parque together: the official site says it saves 10 euros and is valid 15 days from the first visit (Tiqets: 15 days to visit the second park). One ticket per person, scanned at both parks; fast-track and food are not included. The parks are on opposite sides of the island, so do not plan them on the same day. See Siam Park tickets.
